ONE SKY INTERNATIONAL PRODUCTIONS, INC. VIDEOGRAPHY TRAINING PROGRAM is in pursuit of students, but only students who truly are in pursuit of knowledge. A high school education or the equivalent is required to enter the program. The student must have three letters of reference and/or support for participation in the program. As a successful applicant the student will have to demonstrate that there is the aptitude, maturity, and desire necessary to embark on a broadcasting career. Students will be extensively interviewed prior to acceptance.

Course Curriculum
Video Basics
Teaches the basic components of a television production and how they interrelate. Equipment training include cameras, switchers, audio equipment, video tape recording, and EFP/ENG usage. Manual dexterity is developed in the operation of studio and control room production equipment.
Covers film production from the point where the pulse begins to beat! This course studies "how it all comes together" from start to finish in the production office. Students examine the vital role that the production office plays in creating feature films, TV movies and episodic television, from producers to writers to the camera department and editing.
This workshop covers the basics of editing theory and then advances to hands-on work on video editing equipment. Topics covered include the technical layout of editing machines, set-up procedures, editing techniques, standard editing rules, procedures and troubleshooting.
Investigates the cutting edge of the latest trend in broadcast journalism, using video cameras to learn to do it all: write, shoot and edit a television news story. The demand for video journalists who can work independently has increased in recent years.
Covers techniques and procedures for editing video productions on nonlinear (computer) video editing systems in use in television and video production operations around the world. Provides a solid grounding in the management and operation of off-line and online nonlinear editing platforms.
Teaches the student to plan all the elements necessary to guarantee a production that meets the professional standards of the television and video production industry, as well as organize and conduct pre and post-production meetings as the producer/director of a program.
Presents a course that looks at the many facets of audio production including multi-track recording, commercial production, documentary production, audiovisual production and music recording and production.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to demonstrate their professional competency as members of a television or video production team as they rotate through all respective positions. Studio, field and post-production activities will be assigned to meet the demands of a variety of program formats. Students will assume all managerial, production and support function responsibilities.
